Nice to meet you!
Meet the Owner + Lead Therapist
As the founder of Pg. 2 Counseling, I believe that every individual’s story deserves careful attention and understanding, particularly when navigating the complex themes of attachment and adoption trauma, PTSD, and other psychological wounds. As a lover of great literature and a student of the human experience, I recognize that each journey is unique, filled with its own chapters, characters, and turning points. My passion lies in co-authoring healing narratives with my clients, providing tailored mental health services that honor their experiences and foster resilience and connection. I invite you to explore the depths of your story with compassionate guidance, ample curiosity, humor, and a safe, creative space where you can rewrite your narrative and embrace the possibility of a brighter future. Through empathy and expertise, I strive to help you turn the page toward transformation and growth.

Long story short…I am a licensed mental health counselor serving people of all ages in Central Florida for over 10 years. I grew up in Winter Park and Apopka with my 8 incredible siblings, two remarkably patient parents, and a menagerie of different animals. I studied Psychology and Philosophy at the University of Central Florida and went on to get my master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. In the years after graduation, I dove (was shoved?) headfirst into learning about attachment and trauma (and the impacts on the family) while I briefly worked at an adoption agency. There, I met my daughter and we became a family through adoption not quite a year later. Currently, I live with my cool as can be daughter, 2 absurd dogs, 3 entitled cats, and 1 very dramatic bunny.
